چکیده

This paper describes . average and impulsive noise measurements inside several office buildings and retail stores. The receiver had a 70-dB dynamic range and operated at 918 MHz, 2.44 GHz, and 4.0 GHz with a nominal 40 MHz 3-dB RF bandwidth. Omni-directional and directional antennas were used to investigate the characteristics and sources of RF noise in indoor channels. Statistical analyseSof -the measurements are presented in the form of noise level distributions, amplitude probability distributions, pulse duration distributions, and interarrival time distributions.. These analyses indicate that photocopiers, printers (line printers and cash register receipt printers), elevators, and microwave ovens are significant sources of impulsive noise in office and retail environments.

Measurement and Computational Modeling of Radio-Frequency Electromagnetic Power Density Around GSM Base Transceiver Station Antennas

Evaluating the power densities emitted by GSM1800 and GSM900 BTS antennas isconducted via two methods. Measurements are carried out in half a square meter grids around twoantennas. CST Microwave STUDIO software is employed to estimate the power densities in order fordetailed antenna and tower modeling and simulation of power density. Finally, measurements obtainedfrom computational and experime...

High-Frequency Small Signal AC and Noise Modeling of MOSFETs for RF IC Design

In this paper, high-frequency (HF) AC and noise modeling of MOSFETs for radio frequency (RF) integrated circuit (IC) design is discussed. A subcircuit RF model incorporating the HF effects of parasitics is presented. This model is compared with the measured data for both parameter and characteristics. Good model accuracy is achieved against measurements for a 0.25 m RF CMOS technology. The HF n...
